Hello Everyone!! Just wanted to start a new thread for those that applied to Hemet Hospital's New Grad Program. Has anyone else heard anything back?
I received a call and scheduled an interview.
Good luck everyone!
Interviewed on Friday with the Nurse Manager. She stated she wanted to wrap things up this upcoming Friday. I didn't ask how many more interviews would be conducted. Wish I would of, but I did ask how many candidates would be selected & she stated prefers 12, but no more than 14 which is a good size for the nursing educator.
I still haven't heard anything. Just curious, what floor will you be working on & did you ask for the night shifts? If so, glad they placed you where you wanted to be. Again, Congrats you will be an official paid RN :)
Thank you! They called me this afternoon (thursday). I will be on Respiratory/Oncology. I was open to any shift so that didn't matter. I actually preferred to get nights simply for the differential, but I didn't express a preference. Thanks! I have been on the hunt since June!!! I was giving up!!
Hey Ruby_Rocks!
When I interviewed she said everyone will know by the 28th. I hope you hear soon!! I think I remember you from another thread...Mary birch?
I wonder why nobody posts on here. So many other threads have so many replies. Good luck! I have my fingers crossed for you!!
Are you hoping for any unit or just wherever?
Thanks!!! Yes from MaryBirch. A friend of mine mentioned they prefer to hire New Grad with BSN's at least they have been in the past. I think the reason why I received the Supplemental is because I listed her name as a referral. Wonder, if they are reading the posts & just not posting. I am guilty of that myself.
I picked Tele, but at this point any floor because after 6 months you can float to any floor in medsurg (2nd-5th floor)
I sent you 3 pm's.
