helppp CNA license expires!!!!

Hi

I am currently a CNA in the state of California. My license expires on Jan 30, 2017. I moved homes a while back but never had the time to call to change my address. Now i only have like 2 months too hurry and get those papers from the mail? Is there anyways i can get them online or do they have a location I can go to pick those papers up? Also I heard you can do 24 hours of nursing online, what website can I go to just incase i dont have my full 48 hours?

I would suggest that you first tend to the continuing education and gather your certificates or other proof, then take a trip to Sacramento with the appropriate amount of money to cover the fees and any proof you may need for an address change, such as a utility bill (just in case). Do this without delay. Plan your trip so that you arrive early in the day, probably on Tuesday through Thursday. They will take care of your renewal in person and give you some kind of receipt that will do until you get the official document in the mail.

Best bet is to call whoever in your state who administers the CNA test or renewal. Google CA and CNA renewal.

My my state only requires 8 hrs of working in a facility every 2 years to keep my certificate valid. Easy as that's only one shift.

I suggest you contact your board of nursing to find out your options. I was able to change my address online, this may be an option for you.
