I was in a MVA aug 13. I have been to 4 doctors so far. First one was when i arrived at the hospital and spent the night. Second one was just a walk in clinic for insurance purposes. I went to family doctor who informed me i have not seen him in over a year so he will no longer be my doctor b/c he's not taking new patients, he did however look me over and take x-rays of my lower abd b/c i still have severe bruising and pain. He was then sending them to another doctor that I have seen once. I went to her and supposedly she never got my x-rays. Did she bother to go check, nope. All she did was write me a referal to physio and said have a nice day. I kept telling her how much my lower abd hurts and how it now has lumps. I'm at the point where I dont know what to do b/c it seems like soo many doctors where i'm at will not take new patients. Any advice. Thanks

Well, I'm not surprised. We doctor shopped for almost a year before we found anyone decent. We've talked to others who are still doctor shopping, and it's been 3+ years.
I don't have any advice other than if you need to be seen, go to the ER, if you don't, keep "shopping".
I was hoping that Alberta was better than SK, but maybe it isn't. What's Ralph doing with all of that money?
Good luck.
Thanks for the reply, not sure what he's doing with his money. I know they are trying to privatize some doctors/hospital
I'm sorry I couldn't be of some help. If you go to the ER you'd think they'd at least keep you or something since it's abd pain. Geez.
We're moving back to the US because of healthcare here. I wonder if it's better ANYWHERE in Canada. I hate to say it but my colleagues here are jerks too. It kind of sucks the life out of me some days.
hey np, good luck if u move. Yah some of the people i work with, it's like if u hate your job then quit!!!!!!! or quit complaining
I agree.
