Long story short. I worked for a company called clipboard health in California. It is a registry program. I accessed the Ekit on my shift for a patient.
now 2 months later they said there are missing narcotics. I accessed Norco but octopod one is missing, there is 8 missing. thwy reported me, and stated on the cameras I put something in my pocket? I am freaking out !!! I don't know what to do, this is such a serious offense. I am afraid to lose my license.
Also, it is a Ekit that uses a red tie to lock them, it's not a phyxis and you just write down on the sheet what you took and a code from the pharmacy

I already contacted a lawyer and have a meeting set up for next week. The unfortunate part is they reported my license , so I'm not sure how that will go over. But I'm praying for the best and hope this is over asap

Keep calm, slow down. Things do not move quickly with the BON. Mine took 7 months so just know it is not going to be quick. Most of the time when there is a concern related to diversion, the BON will request an MPE by an Addictionologist (high cost 1000). If they state you are safe to practice nursing and they find no issue, you send that over to the board. (Don't send anything to the board unless they reach out to you) If there is no proof, there is nothing they can do to you but possibly ask the above. I would have the lawyer reach out for the supposed video. There are many times people will say you are on video when you are not just to see if you will admit something. (2 months is a really long time. I HIGHLY DOUBT they have video from that time. That would be a lot of data to save and hold on to and not cheap). You can also not be responsible to anything in that case with so much time that has passed. That is ridiculous for anyone to assume. Just bc someone is an idiot and reports you to the board, it does not mean you will get in trouble. With that being said, your lawyer would be able to easily argue these facts on your behalf in a letter to the board (only if the board reaches out to you) to see if that is enough.
Another thought (why has the ekit not been checked/used from 2 months?. They should be doing a narcotic count to prevent the wide of a period passing. That is the reason counts are done quite frequently so someone is not doing their job at this company). This will reflect poorly on them. They need to follow or change their own policies.
Another thought: I would request the narcotic count sheet as if there are any other names below yours they have no leg to stand on. Of course someone could still remove pills without counting but someone should have completed a count after you.
(Not saying your guilty of anything) If you do have an addiction issue, you need to seek treatment. I have a good bit of resources if that is the case you can message me.
