Help!

I am to the point where I'm getting extremely frustrated. I currently work at a nursing home in Florida and I just want out, I have been there for 5 yrs! I have applied countless of times to home health agencies without any luck. Any one here from Florida, Orlando area please lend me a hand, I would really appreciate it!

    I'm in Florida but not Orlando. Are you looking for visits or private duty? I've seen companies hire both RNs and LPNs for private duty, but the pay isn't great a lot of times, particularly if they are medicaid. Many small companies have hired new grads. Some of these companies don't advertise a lot. I knew of one that a client switched to that I never heard of and they only advertised on Craig's list (which I've never searched for employment).

    I have seen some companies not utilize the LPNs for visits unless there is no RN available (not related to scope of practice).

    Sorry for not replying earlier! I'm looking for visits. Earlier this week I decided to visit an agency to atleast turn in a resume and I ended up getting interviewed at that very moment I was a bit surprised. I figure that this is the best way to find a agency job because all I have been doing is applying online and calling to follow up, but that's not leading me anywhere.
