HELP!

Hello all.

I am having such a difficult time adjusting to LPN school. I have been out of school for close to 10 years. It's my second week of school and I'm already SO overwhelmed. I'm so scared to fail. I'm attending a private school in Canada. It is very expensive and I would hate to be so much in debt. I don't know why, but so much negative thoughts is constantly running through me. My biggest fear is failing and disappointing myself, my family and my man. I'm 25 years old and I've been waiting a long time to start my nursing journey.

Is it normal to be so scared and nervous? I also feel like I have no idea whats going on.

ANYONE HAVE ANY TIPS TO SUCCEED or any advice?!!? I'm willing to try anything to succeed in this course. Thanks.

This feeling will not go away until you graduate! It only gets worse... I was in the same boat with a very expensive private nursing school. I saw people failing out near the end and I thought how awful that was that they were that far in debt! Use that feeling to encourage yourself!!!

You will overcome that feeling. EVERY STUDENT in nursing school feels the same way as you do. Stay calm. It's not a competition like some students make it. It's NOT a competition. Breathe relax and know a great study strategy. Study groups a must! Stick to small group. Less chatter more focus. U will see it mayb stressful going in but the closer to graduation the more u realize ur not freaking out anymore that u are strictly on ur work and handed in early when due. Good luck!
