  1. I agree with anon... You must continuously practice ur skills, I volunteered at my school to help others with skills so they could strengthen their weaknesses and to be confident to the new things nursing has to offer ( I am also a vet tech and it gave me many skills that also apply to human nursing) practice does make perfect and will make you be professional and proficient. You got this!
  2. Some students are great test takers and lack skill and some are not great test takers and do very well in skill. But the grades don't define U! They don't. One thing I learned through out nursing school was being told by the most brilliant of professors. The grade doesn't not make u. It's U that makes u! Just focus and study in small groups. Don't let daily activities control ur study time. You have to push that aside! It will always be there later.

You will overcome that feeling. EVERY STUDENT in nursing school feels the same way as you do. Stay calm. It's not a competition like some students make it. It's NOT a competition. Breathe relax and know a great study strategy. Study groups a must! Stick to small group. Less chatter more focus. U will see it mayb stressful going in but the closer to graduation the more u realize ur not freaking out anymore that u are strictly on ur work and handed in early when due. Good luck!
  4. Hello! I'm starting this thread to see how many future classmates I will see. Who has been excepted to the RN to BSN program 2015 summer, and their journey getting this far in nursing. Please feel free to share. I have recently been accepted to the program. I started out at SCCC and was motivated to continue to my masters degree. I have been beaten down, shoved , and battled thru my nursing school I attended and poof here I am! I am sure many can relate
