Kabayan, just so know, you'll find the answers to your questions in the various threads discussed here, also there's only been a handful that have been granted the ATT in CA since the Nov. 2011 strict concurrency enforcement.
Unless you're a Phils grad pre-2005, then you might pass the CA BRN requirements, otherwise, start with the LVN process (there's a couple of good step-by-step instructions here) just start searching for them. Once you pass the LVN exam, you can start to look into the LVN-RN bridging route, but just know, the competition is very stiff and you can expect to be on a waiting list from 1-3 years plus.
If you find a cheaper community college, great, as it's the less costly but greatest impacted to get in versus the more private and the for-profit schools were tuition fees range from $7,000 to upwards $14,000 - $17,000 for a few courses, those have wait list but shorter in duration and a good time to start saving your pennies and pesos.

Hi. I am really clueless of what gonna happen to me. I am an RN in the Philippines. My husband's petition is still ongoing. He is living in California. I wanna know if it is advisable to have my NCLEX EXAM here in the Philippines since they say i still have to take some units in California. Is reciprocity applicable? Or should i take the nclex for LVN first? Please help me.
