There is much written on here for help studying. You need to set yourself time to study and keep to it. Practice as many questions as you can and make sure you understand the rationale on what you get wrong, really make sure you understand why you got it wrong. Be aware as a foreign trained nurse you have a higher chance of failing than someone who trained in the US.

hi. i agree with silverdragon's post above. Like you, i too had kaplan as a study source. I had the class and the online question trainers and Qbank. If you have those, i suggest that you do most if not all of the practice questions that kaplan gives you. I know it may be daunting at first but those questions really help you to get a sense of what maybe asked of you during the actual test and how to pace yourself as well. I would also suggest that you do the quizzes timed so as to get the real test-taking effect. Good luck and don't give up!

Thank u very much for off u .and i would like to aske if i do only the practice questions will be enough?the book is reallyyyyyyyyyyy long make me sick .However i will do my best thank u

are u from Saudi arabia? reading books really is boring but essential in learning. Nclex is very hard and requires deep thinking and judgement. better to start reading now or apply on online courses if nclex review isnt available in yer country. I worked in Saudi arabia as an E.R nurse (king Fahad Hospital-Hofuf) for 3 years and many of the stuff that we do is completely different from USA standard. Best of luck to yah.

in our countries, I am not from the US, the nursing test are not like the nclex. they test us on textbook what we learned in school. None of the critical thinking, they test on knowledge that you know. and if you don't know it, then you fail.

Nclex-rn here is so different

Every country will have their own way of testing. It is also harder for a RN with years experience to pass NCLEX. Took me 3 attempts before I passed and I had 18 years experience at that time

Would just like to add that although stats show it is harder for a foreign nurses to pass NCLEX with lots of study and determination you can pass the exam
