Sorry if this has been asked before...but does anyone have a link to a good site that overviews all of the diagnostic tests, there normal ranges and clinical implications. I am searching in my textbook but I can't seem to find the clinical implications of the results being over or under for most of the electrolytes (sodium, calcium, chloride etc). Does anyone know where I can find this information?

the information about the electrolytes is in my Med-Surg textbook in the chapter on Fluid and Electrolytes - so I was wondering if you have a med-surg textbook?

"Davis's Comprehensive Handbook of Laboratory and Diagnostic Tests with Nursing Implications" is a great text and I highly recommend it. It has all sorts of lab values and possible reasons for the results being too low or too high. In addition, nursing implications are included which is extremely helpful.

I am not sure of any websites, I'd recommend searching google if you haven't already.

Hope this helps a little!
