On freecycle you have to post what you want and people will reply with what they have. I gave someone a graphing calc last year so anything is possible. There is also a free section on craigslist.org and a wanted section too. Do you belong to a church? lokk at local pawn shops or goodwill stores you'd be surprised.....

Does your school have a Math Resource Center (MRC) or Tutor Center of some kind? I know our MRC rents TI-84's for $20 a term. If they don't rent them, they may have bulletin board (the good old-fashioned cork kind :)) that has folks interested in selling theirs at a discount.

It's unlikely you'll need the calculator on the first day of class...I'd hang on to the class until your drop date.

I'm still looking. I'm going to keep the class unless I cannot get one of those calculators within the next few weeks. My first quiz isn't until October so I have time. Unfortunately my school does not rent the calculators. Thanks for everyone's input.
