Practice practice! Look up questions and try to answer quickly without sounding silly. Also, if there's something you really want to mention make up a way you can remember it. At the end, when you say thank you you can say I appreciate you taking the time to interview me and can't wait to contribute x,y,z. Good luck!

So I currently work as a pca at a local hospital on the rehab floor for that last 3 1/2 years. I have been told by almost every single nurse on my floor that I am the best pca ever. I am told that I am hard working, compassionate, always cheerful and that i learn very quickly(i was also told this by all of my clinical instructors). So needless to say they all say that they will miss me when i leave. so let me cut to the chase my dream job is the nicu then picu then med surg peds. However i also love adults and have been applying for several icu positions in my hospital. I have called the nurse recruiter about a month ago and left a message stating that i am currently employed at this hospital, i graduate on December 15 with my AAS in nursing and would like to touch base with her about what i can be doing right now. So last friday a nurse manger in our hospital from another floor who also works as a nursing supervisor came to my floor and told me she has heard so much good stuff about me. She asked me have i been interviewing and where would i like to work i told her no and the icu. She then told me to email her info so i did this past monday. I got a call for an interview on monday with the nurse recruiter and I'm nervous and excited!!!!! any pointers on how to grab me a gn position??? sorry this was so long
