i just passed the local boards on phillipines..

now i am in new york and i have an immigrant visa..

can i take the nclex-rn in new york??

what should i do..what are their requirements...

yes.. you can take the nclex-rn. It would be easier for you since you already have a green card. I have the same exact situation, though I didn't take the PNLE. Just visit the OPNYSED site and you'll see the requirements for RN license.

I just passed my state board, yet it's tough to be a new grad nurse without experience. Good luck though!!
