I would briefly tell them as much as you want to tell them regarding the medical issues and then tell them it's better or how you are going to get through next time with the issue still present. I would keep it as brief as possible and not divulgge too much information regarding the issue so that they can't use it as a well you won't be able to be a good nurse because of the issue. There are plenty of nurses with disabilities, they just find things they can do or find ways to adapt to the situation I hope that helps.
I had to write a letter regarding dismissal to a non-nursing program and they wanted detailed information and gave them as little as possible with a doctors note. The doctors note substantiated my issue and they readmitted me. The counselor said without it they wouldn't have readmitted me as I didn't give enough information.

Does anyone know how to write a reinstatement letter to a nursing school. I withdraw from one of my classes due to illness and now I am at risk . I may be kicked out of the program because I withdrew. I do have supporting documentation from my doctor. How do I go about writing this letter.
