Hello Everybody
I need your honest feedback please! I already work for a hospital and I'm a medical biller and I've been applying for patient care assistant positions for 3 months and finally got 2 offers after almost forgetting about transferring because it took so long for them to respond due to the hiring freeze . Now if they ask me do I have any restrictions on lifting a certain amount of pounds should I tell human resources I'm pregnant? or do you think I should take the job without telling them and wait until I start my new position or wait to start after I have the baby? I hope this made sense.
Thanks!

some hospitals have a zero lift policy, so you wouldn't have to let them know. Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you're disabled. You can lift (unless you're a high risk pregnancy, in which case, speak with your doctor). I don't know if PCA's are like CNA's, but you can take a course of proper body mechanics to avoid injury.
Yes you're right about that its not like I'm disabled..lol!...and I'm not considered high risk so I should be ok.
