well guyz..thank you for those who answer my question in the another topic that i made....a few days a go

now i need you opinion in this situation again.

--you mother is dying because she is suffering from a serious medical conditon a drug is available but it is very expensive you cannot afford the purchas price and the pharmacist will not provide it without the fullpayment, you had sold all things that you can sell and had borrowed money from everyone that you know still the money is not enough

there are two options only

1.) steal the money and explains it to the court

2.) return and beg to the pharmacist

i was thinking that my answer wuld be the second option coz as far as i know even if you steal themedicine for a good purpose still stealing is illegal...and i dont think there is any law that acquitt some stealer's for the situation like this..

what do you think???? i need to know your stand. and why...

This question, as well as the last question you posted, are both ethical questions.

When it comes to ethics, there really isnt a clear cut answer that anyone can give you as to what is right or wrong to do in a situation. For instance, you last post about receiving gifts from patients; there was no right or wrong answer, and you saw by the responses you received.

My personal opinion is that there arent only 2 options. There is always another option. For instance, contact the physician to see if an alternative drug is available that is less expensive. Second Option would be to contact the pharmacutical company directly to ask about a patient drug assistance program.

Good Luck.
