Hi all,
I have an upper 2nd class degree in Accounting from a university in London(UK). Currently a CNA in (2 yrs experience) in California. Intending to relocate to Texas/Houston area to further my career in nursing.
Could anyone, please advise appropriate schools/University in this area; AND what course to go for in nursing.....Lvn, RN or.........?. In advance, I say Thank You

Texas women university-RN to BSN, or Generic BSN
Prairie view a&m university- LVN/RN to BSN or generic BSN
Houston Baptist university-RN to BSN or generic BSN
Houston community college-LVN,RN, OR ADN
San Jacinto college-LVN,RN, OR ADN
North harris montgomery college district-LVN,ADN OR RN.
Alvin community college -LVN, ADN OR RN
wharton junior community college-
ut health sciences center
I also heard that university of houston started a nsg program but im not sure which.

Go for the RN degree, LVN's get paid less to do a lot of the same work. If you're going back to school anyway might as well get the RN.

houston has UT-HSC, TWU, PV A&M, HBU and various JR college programs. do your pre-reqs at a jr. college, make sure you ace everyone you take and you should be golden...
