Hi all,
Hope you can help with a few questions below.
I am hopefully doing nursing over 2 years as i have a degree. Will this course be more intense?
How many hours a week should you study?
How many hours part time are you able to work?
Do you still see you partners? ( a worry of my partner)
Do you still see your friends?
I have spoken to lots of nurses....some advise me against nursing and say they hate it....others love it. What's your views.
I am 25, a little nervous, but think it's what i want to do. It's the studay, working part time that is off putting.
Your advise much appreciated.

Hi,
I think your worries are natrual, and as in everything else in life the things you worry about wont be the problems. Of course you have a life, it is different than it is right now, you will change that is just normal when you become a nurse or when you change any career. I love nursing for me it has always been a privilege and a pleasure. It is never boring and has such variety, I wish you well in your new venture, enjoy your training.
Thanks for your words of wisdom. I have been thinking yes i will do it, then no i wont. But i only say no for the wrong reasons. I think i would enjoy it and i think i would be good at it.
It's taking the plunge when i've been used to a good wage for a while. Money isnt everything tho! What is the starting wage of a registered nurse?
Any other words are greatly appreciated just now xx
I believe the starting wage is around 18000 pounds but I really dont know. I am agreat believer in 'You only regret what you didnt do in life-not what you did'
