I'm currently taking my GE at Fullerton College..
I heard Cypress College has a good RN program so I'm hoping to get in there & then do CSUF's RN->BSN program.
Anyway, my main questions are, is that a good route to take in becoming an RN, and also, how good are my chances at getting into the RN program? I fear my grades aren't good enough, my counselor says all nursing students have like 3.8+ GPAs.. if that is true, do I have any other options?
My grades in regards to Cypress' Rank Order system are as follows:
Psychology 101 B
Math 120HF B
English 103 B
English 100 (AP Score 4)
Reading Proficiency (Pass)
Sociology 101 B
Humanities 101 A
History 170HF A
I'm taking Anatomy this summer & will shoot for an A. I'm taking Physiology and Medical Microbiology in Fall 2015. I'll also take Speech and Art b/c it's listed for pts
Lastly, I read/speak/write fluent Korean, am a BoGG fee waiver recipient, & plan on volunteering in order to boost my rank.. I'm aiming for 28 points.
If you read all of this, wow & thanks... I would really appreciate any input. Thanks!
