Hello all! So I am an R.P.N in Ontario, Canada. I graduated last June, and wrote my exam in September, I found out I passed in early November 2013, but by then since I wasn't registered or knew if I had passed or not, I had already got a job at a car part factory, simple because I needed to work. I never planned on staying there so long, it was just convenient to have full-time hours with benefits, and I think I just got complacent. I also suffer from anxiety and no self confidence, so the thought of an interview has scared me into procrastinating. Now it is October 2014, over a year since I was in school, I have no experience in my field, and feel like I will never get an interview or make it through one. I have applied to nursing homes and hospitals, but not one has got back to me. I feel like nobody is going to want to hire me. I am willing to do anything, I've even applied to P.S.W jobs just to get my foot in the door, I'm looking into a $500 6 week clinical refresher course. I don't know if I should try to re-do my resume and cover letter and hand them out again.
ANY advice is greatly appreciated!
Feeling hopeless!

What area are you looking in? Many people have to be flexible enough to move. Some areas are so saturated with new grads that it really hard to find work. Keep looking and good luck.
