In this case, take one science course now, and save the other for the fall. At least around here, the summer courses are 5-6 weeks, which is an extremely short time to learn a semester's worth of information. Unless you are an extremely strong student, you will really struggle to take two in the condensed time frame. Since you're not pulling As on the science courses you've already taken, it will kill your GPA to take two over the summer. One A is better than two Cs.

Hello Everyone, I am applying to nursing school this September and they focus on 3 main areas total GPA, science GPA, and the Nelson Denny test. With that said I have all the prerequisites that they require finished. However I am two science classes short of the five that they would like for you to have…(physiology and microbiology) I plan to take Physiology in the summer but have been debating on adding Micro. Would it be better to take one and get an A or take two and who knows…. Thank you so much for any and all suggestions!
