Does anyone know in 2011 what hospitals are hiring new grads in the ny/nj area ? ! ? I graduated in may with a BSN and am still trying desperately to cope with this reality..:eek:

Do you have the funds to get ACLS or any of the certifications? I graduated in Dec with a ASN and it took me this long to get a job. And now that I am registered for ACLS, I have been getting calls for job openings. Check out the certifications offered around your area to get a higher chance of getting hired. Good luck with your search. It will be a pain, but worth it in the end.

Better yet, have you signed up for linkedin.com and join the nurse groups, recruit a nurse, and such to see if you can get contacted by recruiters in your area? Also some recruiters are putting lists of openings and emailing them to those who want the list of openings.
