Hello All,

I need help! I am entering my final semester of a women's health NP program this fall. The last two years have been very hard work, but I have enjoyed my program so much. I had plans to graduate this December, but as of now my plans are deferred. I do not have a preceptor secured for my final practicum, but it is not for lack of trying. I have sent out dozens of requests, made numerous calls, and have tried to network through coworkers, friends, and graduates from my school. So far, no luck. I have even tried to reach out to free site ( Ga organization that seeks out preceptors for students), but no response from that site. I notified my program director to let her know that I do not have a preceptor. She is remaining optimistic and told me to keep trying.

I hate asking others for help, but I am at a point that I will not graduate without someone's recommendation or kindness. If anyone knows of a nurse midwife, a nurse practitioner in a women's health setting, or an OB-Gyn, who would not mind teaching a student, would someone please help me. I have women's health experience, and I am willing to send my resume if needed. I am willing to travel near or far in Georgia...
