I have had a dull ache in my right lower leg (calf, and below) for the past 3 days or so... I've had muscle aches and been generally feeling mucky (cold, tired, just general maliase) for the same amnt of time...
today upon inspection by my mom (quazi famous ER Nurse here) she says it looks a little red and a little swollen....(at her request, I took ASA for my discomfort.... Its not working) my LLE is fine... no swelling, no redness, no ache...
hmm... I am 21 years old... a friend and I were trekking around manhattan island today... nothing too abnormal for us...
now.... what do you guys think that the odds are that the swelling is r/t the walking... the maliase is from a cold and stress.
or... perhaps do yous think its maybe a DVT...
I'm vegging out now, BLE's elevated... and going into severe hypochondriac-ness.... sigh...
if its not better in the AM, I'm going to my MD...(mind you, I trust a room full of nurses over the room full of 1st years I'll encounter at the ED)
