Each review is different. I say sit down and try and figure out where you stand with the material. Have you figured out which areas you may be weak in? That's what I did and went from there. You do not want to overwhelm yourself with doing a bunch of reviews (trust me!). Try to choose 1 or 2 and stick with those. Kaplan is good from the reviews I have read; I did Hurst review. It was expensive (I paid 300 for the online review, BUT it did not cover everything- no review does!) Hurst had good reviews on each section such as cardio, renal, GI, psych, etc & good question reviews. And then I used Maryann Hogan's nclex comprehensive review book to review the other material I needed to cover.

My NCLEX test date is also coming up, I am so anxious. My anxiety level is high until I can't even sleep at night. I did the Kaplan review course the week after I graduated. I scored a 59% out of 60% on the Kaplan readiness test to predict if I would pass NCLEX. I am doing the Kaplan Q-banks and trainers and a little bit of Saunders. It's so much info to compile in my brain. Psych/mental health is my weakness. To top things off I am enrolled in a RN to BSN program. I got nursing on my brain 24/7.

If you know a broad amount of core content, some fundamentals (TPN/EN, chest tubes, IV, wound care, etc.), infection control/diseases, stages of aging (newborn to elderly), common medications and classes of meds (also study common herbals), priority/delegation (what an RN/LVN/UAP can do or not), and some test taking strategies under your belt you should be fine. Also, know the "why" behind common conditions/treatments and patient teaching you would provide as an RN to a patient with such condition or treatment.
Keep up the hard work - you can rock NCLEX!
I truly understand where you are coming from. your readiness test looks really good. I have'nt taken mines yet. Good luck we got this.

Does readiness to take nclex-rn comes with the kaplan review?
Yes, I took the readiness test on the last day of the Kaplan review course. Everyone is telling me when you sit for NCLEX, it is so identical to Kaplan.
