Hello all~
I am new to this community so please forgive me if I commit any AllNurses posting nonos.
In my first official post, I've come to seek your help in finding the accelerated NP certifying programs in this nation. I've been trying my best in the past 5 months on and off, searching through Google to find schools that offer the "mepn" or "direct entry" programs. Many of these programs are available nation wide but I find that few of them have NP certification in the end, but instead CNS or nurse leadership type of focuses.
I was hoping that someone before me has been on a similar quest and perhaps has compiled a list of these schools with MEPN to NP certification. If they have, I have had no luck finding it *tear. Would anyone be able to help me?

Hello and welcome to allnurses.com
Good to have you with us.
Do you have a BS in another discipline and are looking for a DE program for those to enter an NP program?
There are many DE NP programs nationwide. Start here:

We hope you enjoy the site here at allnurses.com!!
THanks SirI!
AND YES, I will have my bachelors in Biology by end of Summer 2008!
I see that the link leads to to mepn DE programs in general, how about anything for one that have NP options?

Look at the link again. It is not for DE programs in general. This is a link for those with non-nursing bachelors seeking MSN. You will find programs listed under each state for NP DE.
This is not an all inclusive list, but a place to get started.
Good luck with your nursing career plans.
