You should be having a meeting with your union steward prior to the HR meeting. You need them to know your side of the story.
Minutes of the meeting will be taken. Answer the questions asked, do not offer any additional information.
Usually there is meeting one to establish facts. A second meeting is shortly afterwards to give you a decision.
Check your contract, usually if you have to attend on your own time, the employer is required to pay you to be there.

Hi all. I would be so appreciative of your help, advice, support, etc during this time. I am the poster who was sent home during orientation. see -- https://allnurses.com/general-nursing-discussion/advice-asked-to-993375.html
Turns out I was suspended. Did not receive notice of such until my union rep called me telling me I was suspended and she will be with me in a meeting soon.
Again, this is not my first rodeo. Almost 5 yrs as a nurse and this is my first suspension! Never have dealt with a union rep before, never had to meet with HR under these pretenses. Welp, guess there is a first time for everything.
But what am I to expect? Should I bring anything with me? I have two 90 day probationary employee reviews from my two most recent jobs that speak very highly of me, should I bother bringing these in as a testimony to my character? How will it turn out? I am not that dense (I don't think) so my approach will be to not take the offensive and not be defensive.. so how do I play this?
