Nursing Students NCLEX

:uhoh21: :uhoh21: I just recieved my autorization to test, I only graduated 6 days ago. My ATT came alot sooner than I expected. I was told it would take at least 3 weeks. So now I don't know how soon to take the test. I have been studying alot the past week. I am getting about70-74% on most practice quizes (which I hear is pretty average). I am really anxious to get a job and start makeing some money. But I don't know if I am ready or how to really tell if I am ready. Anyone have any advice??? I could really use it.

I got my ATT 2 days ago and scheduled for next week Wednesday so I don't have to go the weekend without knowing results.

I would not take the NCLEX until you feel ready. Keep doing practice questions, read rationales and study any areas you are weak in. If you have the extra money, I would suggest getting to Mosby CAT NCLEX RN Online version. It gives you a percent probability of your chances of passing. It is computer adaptive, so it gives you between 75 and 265 questions just like the NCLEX. It was totally worth the money to me. It is 39.95 plus tax for 30 days unlimited times. I am sure you get some repeat questions, but the first time will probably be the most accurate indicator and that could give you an idea where you stand.

Did your school make you take the HESI? If so and you did well, you are probably ready. I don't think we ever REALLY feel completely ready, but I think I am as ready as ever. I am still doing practice questions everyday until Monday. Tuesday will be trying to relax and Wednesday is the day! Friday I will know!!

Good luck!
