It's only second quarter and I am wondering if I am cut out for this. At the end of first quarter I felt good. Beginning of second I felt the same. Now as the quarter nears to an ends my grades which came easily before, are slipping and I am wondering if this is something I am cut out for. Can I do this? Should I do this? Are these feelings normal? Did any anyone else freak out at second quarter?

You can do it! When the going gets tough you need to get tougher! I know that right now its hard but remember apply yourself and soon it will be done and behind you and you will be proud of your accomplishment. I do believe that everything your feeling is normal.

Some people are blessed with grades coming easy and others like me aren't. I know I have to work harder than other people and I just deal with it and get through it. Thats the way you need to look at it, just work at it... you got this!

Nursing school is not easy! All of us nurses have been where you are now - it's normal! Some semesters are harder than others and there will be times when you are thankful just to make a passing grade. Don't lose focus... there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Maybe it would be helpful to change up your study habits. Find a study group, make flash cards, make up pretend test questions with a friend. Sometimes it's helpful to take a day off from studying all together to de-stress and clear your mind. Make sure you are eating right, sleeping enough, and get a little exercise if you can squeeze it in. I know, easier said than done, but very important and makes a big difference!
