I do not know how to approach a friend who failed the nclex test. Its been over a year since we graduated from nursing school. I just want to help her. Thanks.

Just approach her nicely. Say something, like you don't want to hurt her feelings, but ....
If she gets upset, apologize and say you only wanted to help but the offer is still open anytime but you won't bother her again about it, if she doesn't want you to. That is about all you can do since the person can't read your mind. Good luck. And I think it is nice that you care about helping your friend.

That is wonderful that you want to help her. Too many people don't know what to say and just avoid the person when they really need the support the most.

Tell your buddy about the Kaplan course for the NCLEX! I've heard rave reviews about it, and I'm certain it could help her :)
Also show her this link:

45 or 91 days isn't an eternity; maybe she could get that Kaplan course done quickly? :)
