Help!? HH nurses

I need some help trying to find Home Health RN's in the Houston area. What is the quickest and best way to find Home Health RN's? There is only one staffing agency in Houston that I know of, but it gets expensive after awhile to continue to use an agency, and advertising in newspapers/magazines sometimes takes awhile for someone to call in...anyone have any suggestions of where to look/recruit for some RN's?? Thanks.

Go to the local nursing schools and ask to post job announcements. When you interview (or on your announcement) you can specify that you want someone experienced. If you go to BSN programs, you can find experienced RNs easier. Are you certain that the skill requirements are advanced enough that an RN is necessary? Most of the home health cases I've seen are staffed by LPNs employed by agencies. My private duty case was staffed by word of mouth when the employer needed new nurses and the agencies could not comply. The nurses already on the case called around to their nurse buddies to see who wanted to work some extra hours. Also one of my clients found a new nurse at church and got her to apply at the agency that was staffing his son's case. Good luck.
