Hello,
I am new to All nurses. I enjoy reading articles and post from fellow nursing professionals, which is one reason I joined. My plan is to become a nurse educator at the completion of my course. I am looking for ideas of a topic that is of interest to nurses. I am never good at choosing topics.
Any topic ideas?

1. Start by making a list of 3 or 4 general topics that interest YOU.
2. Then skim the literature on those 3 or 4 topics to see which ones have literature readily available that you could use for our project. That will help you narrow your list down a bit. It may also help you identify a specific aspect of a general topic that you could focus on.
3. Review the directions for the assignment and the criteria for grading it.
4. Put all that information together and pick the topic and focus area that best fits the assignment and for which you'll have the literature you will need.
The above process gives you the best chance of choosing a topic that will:
A. Interest you
B. Be feasible
C. Fit the assignment well enough to get a good grade
Strangers on the internet who don't know you, your interests, or the details of the assignment are unlikely to give you a better idea off the top of their heads with no information to go on.
Good luck!

If you really want to be a nurse educator, take this assignment as an introduction to learning how to become better at choosing topics, because you'll really need to do that as a nurse educator. Sure, you'll do needs assessments of your target population(s), but gee... really? Not good at choosing topics? What were you expecting a nurse educator does?
