I took my NCLEX twice and I failed. So now I wanna give another try again. I have all the books I needed like the Saunders, Mosby, LaCharity and other notes too. I tried classroom reviews before. Now that my mind is clearer and I have no stress like before. I want to start new. Hope there's a study group near my place.
If classroom review, which one is good in Los Angeles?
If online review, is Kaplan worth it? the review course or just the Qbank?
Thank you! I appreciate any advices. Good luck to everyone!

Same here! Failed it twice last year! But I'll be taking mine again for the third time this coming April 2! I tried Saunders, Kaplan, Hurst Live Review and the Books, Exam cram but none seems to work for me.. So this time I enrolled at ATI Virtual Review.. Hopefully this one works! Good Luck to you and God Bless!

Hi. I hope the ATI works for you. I am reading Saunders 4e now and planning to enroll in Kaplan online review. Reading allnurses everyday actually helped me LOL I pray before studying and when I feel lazy or I can't focus anymore I read inspirational stories in allnurses then it motivates me to go back on track just stay focus and motivated. If others can do it, then WE CAN!!
thank u. I haven't enrolled yet but planning to do the Kaplan online

For someone like you who have not been successful 2x, I would say take the INCLASS review with online access.
It forces you to attend, you are hearing and seeing the material then after the review, you still have access to the material, videos and Q bank for either Kaplan or Hurst so you are getting a 3rd reveiw.
I would never tell someone to just take an online review especially if you have not been successful. You can ask the instructor questions, talk to other studetns, etc it's a win win with in person review with online access.
I'm a relatively smart person but i'm not really motivated to study until close to the deadline so I needed an inclass review to push me. I didn't want to lose or waste my money so it made me go. I learned quite a bit then i came home and did the online reviews, watched the videos that I didnt' get to see while taking Kaplan and now doing the qbanks as well as reading all nurses every day, kalan RN course book- prep for the Nclex -rn that came with the in person review course.
Good luck
Have you identified WHY you were not successful?
Was it that you were not prepared content wise, anxiety or not good at testing strategy?
I would say figure out what your weak points are/were and then choose a review that it strong in that area. Both Hurst and Kaplan inperson reviews are excellent if used the way that they tell you.
Would love to hear your response? How many questions did you get for each exam?
Are you hitting the main areas tested on NCLEX? med surge content, pharm, psych, ob, psych, mgmnt and delegation, infection control, endocrine- diabetes, steroids, addison, cushings, graves, hypothyroidism, parathyroidism, etc
