Help! Getting hopeless!

Published

Hello all! I am currently a school psychologist and school counselor with two Master's degrees and am seeking a career change due to the horrible state of the education system. I am looking for a career with more stability, opportunity, and growth. I want to become an RN and eventually get my MS in nursing. I want to start as soon as humanly possible due to my husband's poor financial state. All of the programs have deadlines that are long past so I would have to put things off a whole extra year! I would like to start this fall of ASAP. I am even willing to go to another state for an accelerated program if I can start soon. Any suggestions? Thank you so much!

The VA has an accelerated program you should check into.

Thanks! I will look into that.

PS-I live in Charlotte and the only accelerated program around is Queens which is WAY out of my budget!

Check into Mercy School of Nursing. It's a diploma school and they offer an accelerated program. You can graduate in as little as 15 months. The rates are pretty reasonable, too.

ETA: They also accept students year-round.
