help finding a nursing school that i can get into within the first try

It would depend on a few factors, one being where you live. Also your GPA and teas scores will matter. Everyone wants to get in the first try and the ones that do have competitive GPA and teas. We couldn't tell you where your best chance is. You just need to look at the requirements for a school and if you meet all of tem then apply. Just about every school except private and rural areas will have a high applicant to admission ratioso you just need a competitive application to get in first try. Gl

Honestly, you are being to vague to get sound advice. I understand if you want to be private on the internet. We would need a general location, GPA, TEAS and such. If your scores are good apply everywhere. If your scores aren't very good, still apply but google will get you names if schools in your area if you don't want to give your location here.

My teas score was a 75.5 .. And I'm willing to travel.. The reason I have to go back to school for 2 semesters is because schools that aren't private require more for me to be able to apply.. I guess you can say I shouldn't have put all my eggs in one basket

I think you're looking for something that doesn't exist. California is an extremely tough area to be admitted into a nursing school But there's not an accredited school that won't be competitive. Most schools list their prerequisite classes online, so just start searching the websites of programs that may be possibilities for you.

You're competing against other students to get one of the limited number of open slots, not just trying to meet the school's official requirements. A 3.3 science GPA is going to make it tough. I live in a more rural area (Oklahoma) where nurses can still find jobs. Even though the websites of nursing programs in my area say that only a 3.2 GPA is required for science courses, the ones I've contacted haven't admitted anyone below a 3.8 in recent years.
