Hi everyone, I need your help in trying to fit my qualifications into the nearest nursing level that fits my experience. You see, I have been going to school in Scandinavia and I am thinking of moving back to the USA (i am american). I am sure that some of my duties are nursing duties, but not all of them? Please tell me where I would "fit in" (CNA/LVN/LPN )Here are a list of my duties in my current "nursing job"..
so if you are still reading this... tell me what your thoughts are. thanks!
I can see that alot of ppl read this thread, still no one has any ideas where my qualifications fit in , in this field?
Skips, MSN, RN

I'm a little confused what you are asking, but your job duties sound like LPN work more than CNA work. I hope this helped! (:
im saying these are my job duties and where do i "fit in" in nursing?
Im saying .. here are my qualifications... where do i fit in?
1) what can a rn do a lpn cannot do?
2) if an lpn can learn and do the how, but the rn can learn to know how and why.. then i fit into the rn category.
Yes, i have listed above my qualifications, now I need a nursing title to fit. Also:
1) what can an rn do a lpn cannot/is not allowed to do?
2) is this statement true: an knows how, but an RN knows how and why? if that is true, then i am in the rn category.

If you can administer meds, that's a nurse's duty. Maybe you can get in touch with your home state's board of nursing & speak to someone there about transferring foreign educational credits to allow you to take your certification exam (NCLEX or whatever you qualify for) in the state you intend to practice in. Good luck! If nothing else, someone who works at your school should be able to help; I'm sure they have other students who've gone on to emigrate & nurse elsewhere.
im so sorry for the double posts, the server wasnt working correctly! thank you for all of your help.
