Hi all!
I am in the process of trying to find a good, quality stethoscope for school, patient assessments, etc.
I've narrowed it down to a Littman, but I don't know if I should fork out the money right now for a Cardiology III. Should I buy a starter model (and, if so, which one), or should I buy the Cardiology III, knowing it will be an investment. I'd hate to lose it in the rush and hub-bub of nursing school, though.
Any thoughts and/or recommendations?
Thanks,
Lisa
I agree, a good starting scope is the Littman II.
Here's a link to a thread about the Master Cardiology, it contains a lot of good information.

try a litman lightweight...not as sensitive as the really good ones, but also not as likely to grow legs and walk away!!
also fits in nursing student budget!
