Hello All.
I had just about decided to enroll in the Excelsior College for my LVN-Rn program. Suddenly I thought about the clinical component of the program. IF you have attended this school (either one) I would appreciate your thoughts on their clincal exam and/ or training.
What happens if I flunk the clinical exam (excelsior)? How many chances do I get?
I have minimum clinical experience outside of doctor's offices, clincal settings in clinics, and postpartum units. Please share your opinons of college-net's and excelsiors' clinical process. Thanks:nurse:

Use to be three chances to complete the clinical they do give you a very nice notebook to study up on the CPNE (Excelsior). They have several sites all over the country and takes one weekend to complete. I did mine in Madison Wisconsin and highly recommend the site.

You can take it up to 3 times total. There are stipulations that allow students to appeal failures and take it a 4th time but it's rare for the school to grant that to students.
Under very special circumstances only.
