Help!Desperate in finding college with no waiting list

Published

I want help! I am really desperate finding the right college/university. This is actually 3 questions. I live here in California and I want to have an idea what are the schools that has no waiting list when applying to RN program? And I also want to know the schools which already include the prerequisites in the RN program? I heard West Coast University already included the prerequisites in their program but I read that it is very expensive. Can anyone help me find a similar to this one?

I would really appreciate every help that I can get. Thank you.

Yeah, mostly all the colleges that have the no waiting line with pre-wrecks are going to be very expensive....So no help here. I know one the LVN program I am going to right now has only a pre-wreck of a high school degree. Other than that of course they are going to accept a certain amount of people so....Really the motto sometimes is ...to get what you want you gotta spend money to make money expecially if its like you and you want to get in quick fast and in a hurry.....Large money issues are going to be a problem for a quick starter if your wanting to be that way. It cant be helped, and sometimes there is always different financial groups that will eather reimberse you or in some cases some places even the government will pay fully for your college if you qualify and as long as you pass what you agrred apon you eather pay a very low interest once your out or in some cases nothing at all because they just want to get an education...Thats the extent of what I know.

There's an entire board devoted to California nursing programs.

Try checking it out.

do you know any school here that already include the prerequisite in the RN program?

Specializes in ICU, ER, EP,.

Sorry no, but I do want to warn you about this... taking A&P, micro and several other courses, coupled with the requirements of nursing school is very demanding and may well make full time/ or any work outside for $$ near impossible.

Everyone's family dynamics differ, but be VERY prepared what you wish for. I wish you luck in finding it:D

Hi, I was on a waiting list for 2 years in Colorado and California, while I was living in Nevada. Finally I decided to apply at Mount St Mary's College in LA.

It is a private school, and you can take the pre requisites there or somewhere else, then you have to go for an interview but it is much easier to get in because you pay.

Check their site , they have admissions twice a year , if you want to get started this is the way to go, if you have time do your pre reqs at a community college and get on their waist list.I you decide to do the latest, I would highly suggest you take only a few credits and get all A's otherwise you will be on the wait list for a long long time since the competition is fierce.

Best wishes !

Thank you. I'll just complete my micro bio in the summer and check out this school. The subjects that I completed at the community college will be transferable, right?
