Help coming up with a psychosocial topic of interest

Hello all =) I am required to write a paper for my psych class but I just can't come up with any good ideas on what to write about! I want to write over something that is important right now but psych has never been my strong point so I don't really know of any good ideas. All suggestions welcome! Please help! =D I will post what the assignment asks for... Oh, and please no rude comments about "do your own homework". I did not ask for someone to write my paper. I would just like to hear some good ideas on what to research. Thank you in advance

I would think that something about the loss of a job and its effect on the parent who loses it, the parent who still has their job and the effect on the kids would be very appropriate for our times right now. The loss of a job would be a significant psychosocial stressor for all members of a family but in different ways for each one. For instance the one who lost the job may feel guilt over the loss and fear of not being able to find a replacement. The spouse who still has a job may feel fear that his/her job will not be enough to support the family and may feel anger at the one who lost the job. The children may feel fear and may also feel guilt because they are too young to contribute or guilt because they feel they are a burden.
