Hello I am attending a 4 year university for 2 years (before transfering to University of Houston) and I plan on being an RN. I was wondering if someone could suggest classes to take that will help guide me to my goal (being an RN). I am not sure exactly which classes will help me.
I will be attending San Jacinto South Central college in Houston.
Thank you.

I'm not a nurse but.. I suggest science classes. Biology, Organic/Inorganic chemistry e.t.c. Talk with your counselor.

you need to look at the school you plan on graduating from to see what is required, and more importantly look at what is require for admission to the school of nursing

Yes, you need to make sure that you are completing the specific prerequisite courses the nursing program you hope to get into requires.
I would talk with your counselor and see what he recommends. Chances are you will be applying at more than one nursing program that have similar but not all the same pre-reqs.
