I found this web site. It looks like the ones we watched at my CNA school. Doesn't say two sets of gloves, hope that helps.
I'm taking the exam this Saturday. I'm very nervous, but I tell myself that this is stuff I do everyday and it will be fine! I'll let you know how it goes. The exam is in Sacramento, 2 hours from my house, so I really hope I pass.
I feel that the hardest part is being is memorizing the steps, just to pass the exam, when in reality many things I do differently. And mentally saying that I am in the role of a CNA, not a nurse.
I am also challenging the exam.
Interesting you are challenging the CNA exam as well, did you pass?
Yes, I passed today. I was a lot more nervous than I thought I would be, but it's all over now. :yeah:Make sure you focus on patient safety and privacy. Those are the main things that will trip you up. For me the hardest part was the test taking environment-not like reality at all. Also, the proctor forgot to drink her cup of sunshine. You will do fine with the written exam, it was super easy. Just breathe and realize that you know how to do the skills! Good luck! Let me know how it goes for you.

Hi everyone,
So I am a nursing student, going to take my state exam in a few weeks. I am caught up on whether or not to use gloves when changing an occupied bed!
In the hospital I usually always wear gloves and roll dirty sheets under pt then clean sheets under the dirty ones, but am I contaminating the new sheets by not changing my gloves? Thank for your help. By the way, I'm in California.
