Help Certification without BSN, etc

I am 65 and have always loved psych nursing. I am an RN with a associates degree for 40+ years. I have many years of experience and am now working happily in Medicare based home health company as a psychiatric nurse. My boss recently requested that I get certified as a psych RN. I can't find a site that will allow anyone without a NP after their name or a MSN to apply for the exam....Really? Am I missing something here? I am not going to go back to school for this. Life is too short. Any ideas or more knowledge on this subject.

I would request they pay for the exam and also possibly seek a small increase in wages after you become certified?
