I graduated this past May and took the NCLEX in July only to find out that I did not pass. I was devastated, especially since all of my friends had passed. I convinced myself to start studying again and took the NCLEX for the second time this past month. I did everything that I was supposed to from getting a good nights sleep to arriving 30 minutes early. I was calm and confident when walking into the test. There was no way I was going to fail again. I took my time reading each question over and answered to the best of my ability. When the test shut off at 76 questions, I knew I had failed. Once again, I felt like I let myself and everyone else down. The most upsetting part is that I did worse than my first attempt. I'm finding it harder and harder to stay motivated. Part of me just wants to give up, but I know I can't do that. I don't know what I'm doing wrong or how I am ever going to pass the NCLEX. I keep praying, but don't know what else to do.
PLEASE HELP!

I have worked iwth new grads to assist them in passing and I will tell you that my focus is on controlling stress. The next foci is reading and interpreting the questions correctly and, last, choosing the best answer. Perhaps a tutor would help?
