A family member got me a Littman Cardiology III for nursing school. I was talking to a former student of the CC ill be attending and she said it has to have a bell and they advise you to get the one thats not double tuned. Does that scope qualify?!TIA!

Yeah because if you look at the spare parts they give you in the box you can change the smaller diaphragm side into a bell. Best of both worlds. Bell for when you need it and you can switch back to the smaller size for peds.

Lucky you- what a nice family member you have! I bought the cruddy cheap scope my school said we had to have only to find out they really, truly didn't care at all, as long as we could hear.
Thanks so much:)

Yah you can use it. You may need to change out the other diaphragm to a bell. I've tried multiple Littmans but still have yet to find one that I like but my best friend loves her Cardio III
