Help an Australian RN -> Washington state / Idaho

Does anyone have information on transferring Aus RN getting license in Idaho or Washington state without needing obs/paeds/extra study?

Or am I best to apply for licensure in NY - then endorsement in Washington state /Idaho?

I already have a masters in nursing practice (critical care) and the thought of going back to school for the paeds/obs hurdle hurts my soul right now.

Even if you go to a state and meet their requirements there is no guarantee that when you endorse to another state they don’t make you meet requirements their have.

Yes, exactly that's why I am asking for other nurses experiences or any information they have to help me decide where to apply for registration/work.

Hi Kayleah,

I am an Australian RN trying to transfer from MT to WA. I am lacking the pediatric clinical hour. Not sure how that will go. How about you? Have you registered with Washington State or Idaho already?

Hi @uounique Just wondering if you successfully transfer your RN license to WA? If yes, did they require you to get Obs and Peds?

I haven't transferred over my RN license to WA at the moment because I have been busy working with my new career (Insurance and broker agent). But, recently, I will need to work on it.
