Help! Applying to ABSN-MSN Programs! Looking to become a FNP.

Hi. I am a male student that is going to graduate from UGA with a degree in Human Development in Spring 2015. I am looking to become an FNP by doing an ABSN program that bridges into an MSN or DNP program. I will be applying to Vanderbilt, Duke, Emory, and Florida.

My GPA will be a 3.4. All A/B's on pre-reqs. I scored a 306 (153 on both Verbal and Quant.) on the GRE. This translates to an 1180 via the old scoring. 153 is in the 59% percentile on Verbal and 153 is in the 50% on Quantitative Reasoning. I am currently in a year long internship at an Alzheimer's and Dementia Center and I am likely shadowing a Cardiologist and Gastroenterologist in the spring. I have other volunteer experience in hospitals, assisted living facility, etc.

I want to know if you guys think I will get in. Anybody else applied and got in or is applying? I have heard from two students at Vanderbilt that there are currently two guys that they know of who got in with less than the required GPA and less than the previously required 1000 GRE score. I don't want to bank on that simply because they're looking for guys to join their program but I want to know how I truly stand up and if you guys think I will get in at Vandy and anywhere else I listed above. So what do you think? Help! Im getting so anxious thinking about it!
