OK. I am looking into pursuing my nursing degree. I am so confused and getting pretty discouraged since I cant seem to find the right school. I though I did, but now looking into how expensive it is and the reviews of disatisfied people that have gone there, it is concerning me.
Going to a community college is an option, but its going to take me twice as long!!
I dont know what to do. I have looked at pretty much EVERY school here in San Jose, CA and I am feeling pretty bummed out at this point..

Going for an RN without any other kind of nursing degree you are pretty much limited to the junior colleges and San Jose State.
Since you mentioned "how expensive it is" I am not sure what kind of program you are looking at. Granted San Jose State isn't cheap but are you looking at private programs?
I'd be cautious of some private "nursing" programs. There have been lots of posts on AN about people who pay big money and end up at a non accredited program. Even the SF chronicle/SF gate ran an article about people who spend big money and end up with a useless degree.
If you are looking for a program you can enter easily with no wait list or significant competition it just doesn't exist in the Bay Area.

You might have to do what many people do. Apply to the local programs. Go with the one that accepts you. If more than one offers you a seat, then choose the program that best fits your needs. In San Jose, that would be SJSU for the BSN. End of dilemma.
Be careful
