Hey all. I've been lurking around here for a few weeks and finally decided to post something. I just started going to school again this past fall. I have a B.A. in psychology/philosophy, but didn't find much as far a work with that, so I decided to do what I should have done in the first place and go to nursing school. I applied for the post-baccalaurate nursing program the the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN (the same school I got my first degree from) and started pre-reqs last fall. Thankfully, I had already taken a number of them, and since it was from the same school, they all transfered. I took A&P part 1 and 2 and chemistry. Fall semester I take microbiology and nutrition, and in January I start nursing classes! I just got my CNA certification and I am starting a job as a CNA on Monday.
As far as personal information, I am 24 years old. I've been married for almost 2 years (our anniversary is July 24). We don't have any kids yet. We are anxious to start a family, but decided it will be best to wait until I am done with school. We do have a dog and a cat, which my mother in law treat like they are grandkids!
That's all for now. I look forward to getting to know everyone here.
So sorry, I didn't mean to post this twice.
