welcome, welcome!!! :melody: :balloons: :balloons:
siri, please tell the others in the forum a little about yourself. we are so pleased you are here and look forward to learning much from you :)
Thank you, Vicky. :balloons:
I am an OB-GYN Nurse Practitioner and a Family Practice NP. Have dual certifications. Also, am certified as a legal nurse consultant.
As an educator, I have taught in a practical nursing program and currently regional faculty at the local university for the BSN student. I serve as preceptor for the BSN student and as mentor for nurse practitioners who are graduated and on their own.
My weekends are typically filled with teaching ACLS EP, PALS and OB and cardiac emergency seminars. We teach ACLS and PALS just about every weekend.
As a line item writer for a nationally standardized certification examination, I spend much time on the computer conducting research.
I have just incorporated my business as a medical legal consultant earlier this year. My business is out of my home and allows me much time for research.
I am very glad to be here with you, Vicky, and hope to get some very interesting threads going regarding the educator.
Thank you for the warm welcome. :balloons:
